This manual test tool is designed to measure card’s resistance to delamination and cracking when subjected to corner impact. The card is secured in the weighted fixture and released from the height of 305 mm (12 inches).

Impact weight is calibrated to create an impact force of 13.3 ± 0.5 N (3.0 ± 0.1 lb). TM-417 is made of stainless steel bar stock for a durable long-lasting finish. Fittings and test weights are stainless steel.
